Allegan Wrestler Receives Michigan Xtreme Scholarship Foundation Award

GRAND RAPIDS, MI - June 28, 2010
Colin Smythe (Allegan, MI) is the recipient of the Annual Michigan Xtreme Scholarship Foundation Award. Colin will receive $1,500 to apply toward his college education at Elmhurst College (Elmhurst, IL) in the fall of 2010.
Graduating in the top twenty percent of his class with a 3.6 GPA, a 3x State Qualifier with 165 career victories in wrestling, the Allegan High School graduate was selected for the award due to the humanitarian impact upon his life as a student athlete, his commitment to helping young athletes, and his specific plans to contribute toward the sustainability and growth of the sport of wrestling in America.
The Michigan Xtreme Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit entity created by Michigan Xtreme, LLC which is a nationally recognized training system dedicated to the sport of wrestling and committed to the development of student athletes. Michigan Xtreme, LLC has training center locations in West Michigan, Southwest Michigan and Northeast Indiana.
