The MX Scholarship Foundation
Founded in the fall of 2009, the MX Scholarship Foundation was created to give annual assistance to a graduating Xtreme senior(s) looking to continue their educational and wrestling career through secondary education ( university, college, trade school ).
Xtreme will announce the first recipient of the scholarship in July 2010 to a Michigan based Xtreme student and in 2011 to both a Michigan & Indiana Xtreme student. Students interested in applying for the award will be required to meet the following criteria:
1. Maintain a 3.0 GPA
2. Write a “What wrestling has meant to me and how I plan to give back to the sport” personal essay.
3. Be a current member of the Xtreme Wrestling Club.
Scholarship recipient(s) will be chosen by the Xtreme Board of Directors and will have their name engraved on a plague that will be displayed in the lobby of the training center! Also, recipient will have their name and the year that they won the award published on the website’s Hall of Fame.
