The Annual Michigan Xtreme Basic Training Camp kicks off in Southwest Michigan on June 4th!

WHO: Basic Training is for all youth wrestlers in grades K-6th.

WHEN:  Starting June 4, 2013 and will meet EVERY TUESDAY

(June 4th thru August 6th)

TIME: 7:00pm – 8:30pm

LOCATION: Portage Northern High School, 1000 Idaho, Portage, MI 49024

2013 College Showcase Camp

The 2013 College Showcase Camp June 28-30, 2013.

Anticipated 2013 college showcase line-up includes 6-8 of the following schools:

  • Stanford University
  • University of Nebraska
  • Michigan State University
  • Wabash College
  • John Carroll University
  • North Idaho
  • Indiana Tech
  • Muskegon Community College
  • Grand Valley State University
  • Alma College
  • Olivet College
  • Central Michigan University
  • University of Michigan
  • Eastern Michigan University

This camp is ideal for all wrestlers in grades 8th-12th who may have an interest in continuing their wrestling careers in college.  You will not only learn some of the most current college level technique, you will also learn everything you need to know about what it takes to wrestle at D1, D2, D3, NAIA, NWCA, Junior College, etc. as well as educate you on the entire recruiting process.  This camp is priceless information for wrestlers and parents and the earlier you attend this camp the better…ideal for underclassman.  However, if you are a current HS Senior and are undecided…this camp will give you some rapid exposure as your recruiting profiles will be shared with hundreds of college wrestling programs in addition to the 6-8 you will be given the first hand opportunity to show your skills with at camp!

Researchers examined different habits and many of the participants showed a curved relationship between practice and automaticity of the form depicted below (solid line). On average a plateau in automaticity was reached after 66 days. In other words it had become as much of a habit as it was ever going to become.  No two wrestlers are the same…which is why MX Strength & Nutrition adds a “CUSTOMIZED” plan to meet your unique situations, body types, goals, motivation and access to training tools & resources (i.e. school weight room, health club membership, etc.).  Most strength and nutrition programs fail due to the accountability piece.  The MX Strength & Nutrition program includes your very own COACH to hold your accountable, to keep you on track, to teach, to assist, to adjust and guide you forward on your plan that is unique to you!
